Set your DVR!!! Blood Dolphins TV Special on Animal Planet…

Remember The Cove?  It exposed Japan’s dolphin and whale hunting practices to the world, revealing shamelful secrets of a tradition long past it’s usefulness in Japanese society.  The Cove actually won an Oscar for it’s work (yes, it’s that good)!

But a movie can only cover so much in one sitting, so Animal Planet has put together a 3-show series on the subject of Dolphin Hunting.

Be sure to check it out!  Coming to Animal Planet on Friday, August 27th – 11pm EST.

Earth Island Institute‘s Ric O’Barry, lead activist in the Oscar winning film, “The Cove,” and his son Lincoln have one message: save the dolphins. “Blood Dolphins” follows their experience as they travel worldwide to stop dolphin slaughter.
